Major League Links: 2.19.08
By: Laurie | February 19th, 2008We have preseason stuff going on all over the place this week. Here’s a sampling:
- Melissa at San Jose Offside talks about Frank Yallop’s plans for breaking the expansion team curse. Money quote: “The hardest part in this game is being creative and scoring goals.” Amen, Frank. Amen.
- Robert over at FC Dallas Offside is in the middle of a multi-part player analysis. Today it’s the midfielders.
- Dave at Red Bulls Offside looks at new RBNY coach Juan Carlos Osorio and what his plans may be for the team. 3-4-1-2, anyone?
- Nicholas at Toronto Offside looks at what’s going on this week with the Toronto preseason, including a game with the U-17s from Bradenton. (I’m not quite sure what to think about this matchup, but I think I’m glad Toronto won.)
- Alex at Chivas Offside has a game report on the Chivas-DC game, including an adorable photo of an unidentified Chivas player signing autographs. (That’s not Galindo, is it?)
- LA Galaxy Offside shares this classic Alexi Lalas ESPN commercial.
- And Sean at Chicago Offside rants (with brevity, mind) about the traitorous thoughts of William Conde. Who needs ya, William?
- From Jon at DC Offside: So who are these DC guys anyway? (The all new international version!)
More links tomorrow, including some from around the non-Offside blogosphere. If you have a post you think I should include, please email me at laurie[at]theoffside[dot]com.

Crap, Jon!! You were in my original, but then I had formatting issues and you must have gotten deleted in the reformatted version! I swear on my mother-in-law’s grave that it’s nothing personal.
(Well, she’s still alive. But the thought is there.)
Going in to add you right now!! (And I promise to make it up to you.)
