Wednesday Night Highlights
By: travis | May 7th, 2009If you missed last night’s games, one made you yawn, check your watch repeatedly, and wonder when the ref would blow the final whistle. United hops into first place all by themselves, with a chance to extend that lead against Toronto FC on Saturday. The Wizards did well to equalize, but in truth it was a rather unforgettable 90 minutes of footie.
On the other side, RSL-LA looked pretty boring until the last ten minutes. Two penalty kicks and a late Mike Magee equalizer means that the Galaxy have yet to lose on the road, and perhaps might not be god-awful this season. Nathan sums up the game best right here.
