Offseason doesn’t Mean Slow Season
By: travis | November 25th, 2008Well, the MLS season is now officially over. Once again, congratulations to the Columbus Crew on winning their first ever MLS Cup title. While things will slow down here on the pitch, MLS Offside isn’t going anywhere. There will be plenty of action to report as players move, an expansion draft takes place, the Super Draft takes place, and whatever else we can think of here. Here are a few things to expect:
+Coverage of the Seattle Sounders and their expansion draft, scheduled to take place tomorrow, Nov. 26. We’ll take a look at what players Seattle decides to lineup with their modeling midfielder. Here’s a list of players they will get to choose from.
+We’ll take a look at the 2008 awards, and give our own spin on who we really think should have won. Now that the whole season is over, of course.
+All player transfer news will go through here. Adam Cristman getting traded to the KC Wizards has kicked things off – followed closely by Jovan Kirovski going from SJ back to LA.
All this and more will start over the next week, continuing through out the winter into next March
