MLL: Monday Morning Coffee

There was alot of activity here this weekend, so why dont we just dive in while this guys suffers a major case of the Mundays:

- Major changes at the Galaxy blog! A bunch of writers have invaded – And all talented too! If only all blogs could be given such a blessing. One of my personal faves, Jen gives a great analysis on the ability of players to perform under duress of the chopping block. Queen Laurie drops GALAXY V.2 on us, with the Offsides newest writer, from SoccerByIves fame, NathanHJ! And, like a typing bat out of hell, Nate shares with us the finer points of the Galaxy’s 3-2 loss to the Quakes.

- Speaking of which, what is the best cure for a long suffering Quakes fan, waiting for this intolerable winless streak to end? A huge win against the Galaxy. Lead by Huckerby. My how things have changed in the sunshine state . . . I mean just look at Seans game preview!

- Check out Chad Barretts smiling face and Colmans thoughts on TFC’s direction. This is his farewell post to the US, as he goes to Europe to blog some more. I can relate.

- Kyle at the Rapids blog is beaming ear to ear – Everton is coming to town to face the claret and blue (Thats taken right?)

- Over with the Red Bulls, I give a quick weekend recap of Red Bull events, including the trade of Big Cat Thornton, Barcelona’s arrival, and the Bulls opening up NASDAQ today.

- James with the Crew spoke on the Crew / Dynamo pregame, and spoke truth with every word. I wonder what he will say after this weekends Houston shalacking?

-The Chicago Fire without Blanco? Sean says the kids are alright, and gives props to a team that held down Everton without the mexican star in the lineup!

- Finally, in the absence of Travis, Mike has come in to simply say “LET’S GET A WIN.” Kansas City blog is back to life Wizards fans. Check it out.
