Houston Residents Shocked!

Residents of Houston, Texas awoke this morning to discover that they live on the East Coast of the US.

In what seems a very comical move, today the Houston Dynamo officially moved to the MLS Eastern Conference.

Houston?

Of course, this only increases the likelihood of them becoming the 2011 Western Conference champions!

Not much else to say. This one is another conference head-scratcher for me.

  Houston was moved since, with the addition of Portland and Vancouver, they would have the most travel if they stayed in the West. It was either Houston or Colorado, which really would have been the same thing, travel-wise.

  If it’s any consolation, with Montreal joining next year, Houston will go back to the West.
