Ladies and gentlemen, we at The Offside are committed to bringing you improved coverage of Major League Soccer in 2008. With this in mind, we’d like you to meet our new Offside page, MLS Offside. (MLS.theoffside.com.)
I will admit that the address is not officially brand new. If you had typed in “MLS.theoffside.com” last week, you would have gotten all of the posts from our individual team bloggers. And you still will. But starting this week we’re offering all this, plus more.
More news. More links. More coverage of things like injuries, trade rumors, business issues, match reports and fun personal player/coach/manager details that might not fit on The Offside’s main page.
(And plus? I get another opportunity to indulge both my love of MLS limericks and the utterly inappropriate humor I find in the phrase “groin injury.” Life is truly good.)
Also, MLS bloggers, we are looking to spread the love, along with any and all information we can about the league. Mainstream media may not give our sport coverage, but we will. My plan is to share links to interesting MLS stuff on a regular basis, both from our own bloggers and others. This could include you. If you have interesting MLS stuff you’d like me to be aware of, please let me know at laurie[at]theoffside[dot]com.
