These MLS Guys Deserve Tin. Or Aluminum.
By: Laurie | February 22nd, 2008
The tenth anniversary is the one where you give tin.
Yes, tin. Or aluminum. Woohoo, huh?
My guess is that these guys would probably go for aluminum. Provided it’s wrapped around beer.
(You’re welcome for the gift ideas, MLS fans. One of many services I offer.)
But the point of this post: MLSnet has a list of guys who’ve spent ten years with Major League Soccer.
Ten years. That’s longer than most marriages. Probably because staying together just to get tin or aluminum isn’t much incentive.
But I digress. Let’s all give a huge round of applause (and a bucket of tin) to the following gentlemen:
Matt Reis, NE Revolution
Carey Talley, RSL
C.J. Brown, Chicago Fire
Mike Petke, Colorado Rapids
Wade Barrett, Houston Dynamo
Pablo Mastroeni, Colorado Rapids
Tyrone Marshall, Toronto FC
Chris Klein, LA Galaxy
Joey Franchino, NE Revolution
Ben Olsen, DC United
Jeff Cunningham, Toronto FC
Congrats, guys! Hang out till the fifteenth and you’ll get crystal. Oooooh.
