Major League Links, 3.21.08: Interviews, Previews, Rear-Views*
By: Jeff | March 21st, 2008* OK, not the last one.
- Toronto FC Offside gets the lead for winning on volume. Not only does he provide the latest news on injuries and trialists for TFC, he also keeps you current on Canadian Soccer news; yes, the CSA has hired a technical director, and, yes, Canada is playing Estonia this week! Yes! No longer must we wonder which butt-ass cold, sparsely populated country is best!
- Rather than pontificate on what he thinks will happen (though he, um, will do that later) Fitz on Real Salt Lake Offside asks you to predict RSL’s ‘08 fate for him.
- I really liked this one: Red Bull Offside’s Dave M sings the praises of Red Bulls present and Metros past who revealed Canada’s Olympic dreams to be a damp, empty…oh, god lord, I can’t type that!
- More impressive still: Chivas USA Offside’s Alex gets off his butt and gets him an interview - this one with new-boy Alecko Eskandarian. It is thorough.
- Jon from DC Offside posts his ‘08 preview and, while he’s at it, reviews Luciano Emilio’s engaging blog. Of course they’ll do well this year…that’s like predicting rain in Oregon.
- Melissa on the San Jose Offside somehow combines tax-hatred and the rebuilding of the Earthquakes into one post. Nice.
- On the KC Offside, Travis analyzes the Wizard’s midfield; here’s the piece on the Wiz defense in case you missed it.
- Running out of steam now…and, with my last breath, I pass on the Jeff’s thoughts on the Colorado Rapids’ defense and offense. Both will be awesome…ignore him; he’s a vainglorious twit.
Have a good weekend.

The funny thing, Dave, I’m not even sure what it means. I’ve got vain down, but think I’ve only come across vainglorious in comic books.

haha Comic books rule. My vocab was 1029-85151-1-099141 times better than kids my age back in the day.
I hear new comics are awesome. Too bad soccer consumes all . . .
