Major League Links, 03.27 - Finally, Some Meat!

Ahem. Lots going on The Offside’s team blogs today…time to dig in.

- Because I’m a fan of abrupt mood swings, I must begin by celebrating Sean from the Chicago Offside’s roller-coaster duo of posts. One minute, he’s optimistic, the next…well, he blames Wilman Conde, as I’m sure Fire fans will do as this 2008 season begins.

- Dave M, plugging away on the Red Bull Offside, welcomes the signing of Oscar Echeverry - and has some thoughts on where to play him. He also announces the end of the group stages for the FIFA ‘08 Offside Cup.

- The San Jose Offside’s Melissa passes on some odds & ends heading into the weekend.

- Trivdaddy from the Columbus Offside shares his belief in the Crew’s 2008…and, perhaps not coincidentally, his excuses for 2007. Good man.

- The Colorado Offside under Jeff continues his dual-site confusion (sorry, Melissa) by linking to his Western Conference preview; see where the Rapids fit into the little world in his head.

- Chagrined at the poo-pooing surrounding David Beckham’s 100th cap, jen takes up his defense on the LA Galaxy Offside.

And, after that, we get to the good stuff…game previews…and those mean? Yes! The season is starting!

- The Chivas USA Offside’s Alex provides the first of many game previews he promises through the season. Not surprisingly, he figures Chivas will win.

- The NE Revs Offside’s Dan provides a nice heads up for New England’s opener v. Houston - and to note his comments on new-boy Mauricio Castro.

- Finally, Fitz forwards a finely-figured feature on RSL’s likely line-up for their opener on the RSL Offside. (Sorry about the alliteration, Fitz. Just trying to mix things up).
